What does OTP Helper receive?+

Verification codes from SMS notifications on a connected iPhone and from new messages in Gmail, Outlook, Yandex Mail, Mail.ru or Yahoo.

Do the phone and PC need the same network?+

No. A personal protected channel delivers the code even when the devices use different networks.

Are Gmail messages uploaded to the server?+

No. Gmail is checked locally by the Windows application. Email contents, OAuth tokens and extracted codes are not stored in the account or server backups.

How long is a code retained?+

Only in application memory, for up to 60 seconds or until confirmed insertion. OTP Helper does not keep a code history.
